What happens after you submit the form
Within a week: Carmen or Christopher will call or email to talk through your space, answer questions, and set up a site visit.
The property walk: Free, usually takes about 30-45 minutes. We walk the property together, check the spot you're thinking about, answer anything else that's come up, and confirm whether it's a fit. No pressure either way.
If we both say yes: We schedule installation for the next available window in swarm season (April-May is peak). Payment happens then, not before. Bees arrive, and the hosting year begins.
If the site isn't quite right: We'll tell you what would need to change, or we'll be honest that it's not the right fit. We'd rather have that conversation early than install a hive somewhere that's going to struggle.
A note on safety: Honeybees are generally calm, but they are living creatures. There is always some risk of stings. Carmen covers safety in detail during the property walk and before installation. Hosting is a partnership, and we'll make sure everyone who'll be near the hive knows what to expect.
